Day FOUR...
Sunday, September 21th, 2003
Well this is the last day and we are in Nebraska. It started off raining...and rained most of the day...til we got back to the "Land of Lincoln". For gas and breakfast we headed back across the Missouri River to Council Bluffs.
Back to State #9!!...Iowa!!
Breakfast this morning was at Perkins...home of...eh...decent omelets...Plus, no smoking on Sundays. After breakfast we realized we had no welcome sign for Nebraska.
Back to State #10!!...Nebraska!!
For this jaunt into Nebraska, we just went to the first exit and turned around.

Back to State #9!!...Iowa!!
For this journey home we headed straight across Central Iowa. It rained off and on most of the way across the state.

Once east of the Quad-Cities, we got ahead of the storm that we had been traveling through all day. It turned out to be a nice end to a day and road-trip...
