Day SIX...
Friday, June 27th, 2003

Well this is the last day of this trip. Just like the start from Chattanooga, Tennessee, motor-fuel prices were lower in another state. So let's fill up there.

Back to State #10!!

After filling up it was time to go northwest.

We headed across the state on Interstate 70 to the capital then by-passed Indianapolis on Interstate 465. On the north end we took the Interstate 865, "dog-leg", to Interstate 65. Instead of taking the highway the entire was back home we jumped off on U.S. Rt. 52 and took that from near Lebanon, Indiana all the way to Kentland where it joined U.S. Rt. 24 and turned due west.

Back to State #1!!

Now back in the Land of Lincoln, we stayed with U.S. Rt. 52 until we arrived in Kankakee. Here we grabbed Illinois State Route 102 back to Wilmington and then went home. Being back home that ended one to the 2003 trips.
