Experiencing America > Road Trip Year...2004 > The Move > Day 3

Day TWO...
Sunday, May 16th, 2004

This was a sunny day, cooler than the past few. So after a great breakfast from a local Waffle House it was on to Illinois.

The Toys 'R US of Toledo mus tbe the place to hang out on a sunday morning.

This is the tower of the fine Choice Hotel in Toledo we spent the night in.
Now back on the Ohio Turnpike to Illinois.

Back to State #2!!

In Indiana we headed across the Indiana East-West Toll Road to a service plaza in La Grange County. The U-Haul once again need fuel. As for the tahoe and car...still on the tank from Pittsburgh. It was no time before we were to the Greater-South Bend Area. Almost home!

The time zone marker on the IN E-W Toll Rd.
With heavy construction on the Borman Expressway in Northwest Indiana, we decied on a different was across the border. At U.S. Rt. 421 we headed south past a Roundy's Distrubtion Center. U.S. Rt. 30 seemed like a great we across the state line. It was better than nothing.

Back to State #1!!

U.S. Rt. 30 took us close to our destination in Olympia Fields. Where we unloaded the U-Haul.

Usually Ohio had the stuff on sticks.

It's like a whole fake animal zoo.

Ever see a purple cow with palm trees?...Wait...ever see a purple cow??
