Day THREE...
Sunday, September 28th, 2014

Our final day of the year in the "Lou" started with breakfast at Eckart's. Great dinning, family fun, and nice country store. Before jumping on the interstate for Chicago, we took at tour of Busch Stadium. This included a trip on the Metrolink from Swansea to Downtown St. Louis.

Back to State #2!!...Missouri!!

Looking at the field from gate 3.

One of the teams world series trophies.

Another world series trophy.

A plaque in the stadium.

Looking west from the Musual Bridge at the man's statue.

The view from the Redbird Club.

The Redbird Club.

The field.

After the tour of the stadium we walked through downtown toward the river front. This took us past the Old Cathedral and the Gateway Arch. Once to the riverfront we got back on the Metrolink and headed back to Illinois.

Looking up at the arch.

A message on the Metrolink ticket machine. Is that really a problem?

Back to State #1!!...Illinois!!

Once to the car we headed north. Making great time, a brief stop was made at Lincoln, Illinois in search of the new home of the world's largest covered wagon. We found it...

The wagon.
