Day FIVE...
Friday, July 19th, 2019

This day was a day of relaxation and exploration. The main goal of the day was to spend the day in the Atlantic Ocean. It was in the high 90's to near 100 outside; so why not me in the ocean? With us starting in Princeton, New Jersey, we headed straight east on Interstate 195 to the Jersey Shore. For a nice clean and relaxing day at the beach we went to Ocean Grove, New Jersey.

After a day in the ocean it was time for lunch and to get out of the sun. As we made our way back to Princeton, New Jersey, we toured around the small community of Ocean Grove. This brought some interesting sights and a discovery of a local hot dog/burger joint for lunch and some cool air.

As we headed back to the hotel to clean up from the ocean, there was one stop see another bit of history that the east coast of the United States has to offer. For this we headed to see the infamous sight where Washington crossed the Delaware.

Back to State #5...Pennsylvania...

Once on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River we went to the Washington Crossing State Park, at Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. This place had some rustic buildings and a nice open park near the sight of the crossing.
