Chessie System
Chessie System is a holdings company that owned many railroads including the Chesapeake & Ohio, Baltimore & Ohio, and Western Maryland to name a few. This was in operationg from 1973 to 1980. In 1980 Chessie System merged with the Seaboard Coast Line to form CSX.
