Coopersville & Marne Railway

The Coopersville & Marne Railway runs along former Grand Trunk Western rails northwest of Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was incorporated in 1989. The track used by this railroad was first used for the Oakland and Ottawa Railroad. That railroad merged with the Detroit and Pontiac Railroad in 1855. The name was changed to the Detroit and Milwaukee Railroad. In 1928 it became part of the Grand Trunk Western railroad. By 1987 the line was bought by the Central Michigan Railroad.
