St. Louis & San Francisco Railway

The St. Louis & San Francisco Railway served parts of the mid-west and south central United States. It was incorporated in 1876 in Missouri. This came from the Missouri Division of the Atlantic & Pacific Railroad. It was known as the "Frisco". The Burlington Northern Railroad acquired the Frisco in 1980. Today most of it's lines are part of the BNSF Railway, while others are operated by smaller railroad or abandoned.
