Hudson Bay Railway
The Hudson Bay Railway dates back to the early 1900's. This is when the Canadian Northern Railroad started to build a line from The Pas to Port Nelson and Churchill. In 1918 the Canadian Northern went bankrupt and the government took over construction under the Canadian National Railway. In August, 1997 the Hudson Bay Railroad took over operation of the 810 miles of track from the Canadian National Railway. It is a sub company of OnmiTRAX.
