The Village of Elburn is located in Western Kane County. This is located along Illinois 38, Illinois 47, Metra-Union Pacific West Line, and the Union Pacific Railroad. It was originally a half way house between Oregon and Chicago. When the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad the area was originally known as Blackberry Station. Elburn was incorporated in 1886.
