On May 31, 2007 U.S. Reresenative Jerry Weller (R-Morris) had the United States Post Office in Morris renamed after U.S. Army Sergeant Joshua A. Terando. He was killed in action while near Khalidiyah, Iraq. The City of Morris is located on Interstate 80, U.S. 6, Illinois 47, CSX & Iowa Interstate Railroad, Illinois River, and I&M Canal. This is the county seat of Grundy County.
