The Village of Yorkville is located in North-Cetral Kendall County along the Fox River. This is the ounty seat for Kendall County. The old courthouse is on the hill southwest of the river bridge. Currently, the courthouse is now northwest of downtown. Prior to 1957, Yorkville was two seperate towns. Bristol on the northside of the river and Yorkville on the south.
