Info on Ambia:

Ambia was named for the daughter of the guy who plotted out the town, Ezekiel Talbot, in 1875. This was a stop along the Lafayette, Muncie, and Bloomington railroad, which later became the Lake Eire, and Western. Today this is along Indiana 352 and the Kankakee, Beaverville, and Southern railroad.
