The City of Gary is the 5th largest city in the State of Indiana. It was founded in 1906 by the U.S. Steel Company. The name for Gary comes from the name of the chairman of U.S. Steel. Gary is home to the Gary Railcats, minor league baseball team. They play in the U.S. Steel Yard.
