The Village of North Judson is located on Indiana 10, and Indiana 39. North Judson ownes and is home to the Chesapeake and Indiana Railroad. The town was originally known as Brandtwood and plotted in 1859. A post office was established in 1860 as North Judson. It was named after one of the promoters of the Great Chicago and Eastern Railroad. The town was incorporated in 1881.
