Georgia State Route 246 and North Carolina State Route 106 are an east-west highway that cross between the State of Georgia and the State of North Carolina five different times. GA St Rt 246 runs in Northeastern Rabun County; while NC St Rt 106 runs across Southeastern Macon County. The two highways combine to run from U.S. Rt. 23/441; GA St Rt 15, at Dillard, Georgia, to U.S. Rt. 64/NC St Rt 28, at Highlands, North Carolina. Four of the state line crossing are marked with small green signs that state "GA" or "NC" on them, until the final eastbound crossing, or first westbound crossing, where traditional welcome signs are posted.
