Interstate 74 Mississippi River Bridge Bettendorf, Iowa-Moline, Illinois
This project to replace the Interstate 74 Mississippi River crossing between Moline, Illinois and Bettendorf, Iowa started in 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2021. These new river crossing replaces the existing bridges that are not suited for modern traffic. The current westbound bridge opened to traffic in 1935; while the eastbound bridge in 1960.
