Interstate 295 runs aprox. 53 miles in Southeastern Maine. It goes from South Portland to Gardiner. Prior to 2004, I-295 was only about 11 miles. When I-295 was created it only went from the junction with I-95/Maine Turnpike, at South Portland, to a junction with I-95, near Falmouth.
