Interstate 97 is a north-south interstate in Central Maryland. It runs from Baltimore to Annapolis. This has several facts about is that are interesting. It is only within Anne Arundel County. I-97 is the shortest primary interstate in the contental United States. This also is the only primary interstate not to connect with any other primary interstate.
