U.S. Federal Route 40 is an east-west highway across Southern Baltimore County. This is in two sections. The sections are split by the Independant City of Baltimore. The eastern section runs from the Harford/Baltimore County Line, near Gunpowder, to the Baltimore County/City of Baltimore Line, near Rosedale.
