Interstate 86 is an east-west highway in Southern New York State. This runs from the Pennsylvania/New York State Line, near Findley Lake, to Windsor. As of September, 2012, there is a gap in Interstate 86 between Elmira and Binghamton. This makes the western section run from the Pennsylvania/New York State Line to New York State Route 352, at Elmira. The eastern section runs from Interstate 81 to New York State Route 79, at Windsor. This highway runs along the Southern Tier Expressway and the Quickway.
