Great Smokey Mountain Expressway

The Great Smokey Mountain Expressway runs east-west in Southwestern North Carolina. It runs from U.S. Rt. 19/74, near Bryson City, to Interstate 40/U.S. Rt. 74, near Clyde. This is a major truck route through Southwestern North Carolina. This is a multi-lane divided highway. It does vary between an expressway and freeway in different segments.

The Great Smokey Mountain Expressway passes through the following cities.
