U.S. Federal Route 30 is an east-west highway across Northern Delaware County. It runs in two sections. The northwestern section passes through various towns and is the longest U.S. Rt. 30 is in Delaware County. The northeastern section is a small tract of land that U.S. Rt. 30 passes over. U.S. Rt. 30's northwest portions runs from the Chester/Delaware County Line, near Strafford, to the Montgomery/Delaware County Line, near Rosemont. After briefly passing into a portion of Montgomery County, U.S. 30 reenters Delaware County, near Bryn Mawr, before entering Philadelphia County.
