 | Interstate 585 |
Interstate 585 is a short north-south highway on the northside of the Spartanburg Metro. It runs about two and a quarter miles in length. When it's parent interstate, Interstate 85, was moved north to it's new alignment, I-585 was left as an orphaned highway. This is since it does not connect with it's parent highway. Interstate 585 runs from Church Street (U.S. Rt. 176/221; South Carolina State Route 9), to near Upper Valley Falls Road.
While in the State of South Carolina, I-585 is multi-plexed.
