Day THREE...
Wednesday, July 17th, 2019

Day three is the main event of the trip. This is the entire reason for the trek to the east coast. Our home bas for a few days was in Princeton, New Jersey. Just across the Delaware River in Pennsylvania, is where we go for the main attraction. This was a place that may have an image for those of a pre-school age, but is extremely inclusive for all peoples. The place...Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. This park is part of the Sea World Family of parks; yet it keeps with the themes and practices of the Children's Television Workshop.

Once across the Delaware River we got to the park. It was a fun day of water attractions, interesting landscaping, roller coasters, meeting characters, and entertainment. The folk from Sea World did not come up short on anything within this park. The entire time at the park was extremely enjoyable.

The group split for the rest of the afternoon and evening. While most went for hotel swimming and resting; some headed to the south end of Philadelphia and explored the Delaware River Valley. The first venture was down Interstate 295 along the New Jersey side.

With this exploring it included seeing the new partial interchange that was built to connect the gap that has existed in Interstate 95 for a very long time.

The trip back into the Keystone State was brief. It was a turn around to get pictures and move one.

Back to State #6...New Jersey...

NB I-95 at the New Jersey Welcome Sign.

The rest of the way down New Jersey was an interesting trip seeing the landscape of Southern New Jersey, or at least what can be seen from the New Jersey Turnpike. Following the turnpike, it leads us to the State of Delaware.

Now to State #7...Delaware!!...

The Delaware Welcome Sign on SB I-295/WB U.S. Rt. 40.

The northern part of Delaware is narrow and short to get through.

Now to State #8...Maryland!!...

The Maryland Welcome Sign on SB I-95.

Unfortanatly there was a storm a brewing. This forced the exploration to end and us to turn back for New Jersey. So it was back of I-95 to I-295 to Princeton, New Jersey.
