Day FOUR...
Wednesday, April 16th, 2025
We skipped a few days as the work convenstion was taking place and we were stationing in Hershey, PA the entire time. Once that was done in the morning hours of the 16th, we took to the roads. In true road trip fashion, insead of heading back west towards home, we headed east. For content for the other websites we headed into Southeastern Pennsylvania, but stayed on the western edges of Philadelphia, as we then headed north. Along the way there was a Peep show. Literlty the easter marshmallow treats created in to various artworks. We stopped to look at the exhibit. Eventually we ended up back along the Delaware River, and crossing into New Jersey.

Back to State #7...New Jersey!!
There was no state line sign, or welcome sign here. Shortly after we entered New Jeresy we followed the Delaware River along New Jeresy 29 south to a familiar place. Washington Crossing. From the 2019 road trip this was infamous for the previous Yukon having it's mirror smacked on the bridge crossing the narrow structure. Thus as a right of passage for the newer Yukon, it too had to cross the Delaware near where Washington crossed. This one had foldable mirrors...so not striking the bridge this time.

Back to State #5...Pennsylvania!!
This time in Pennsylvania was brief as we continues south from Washington Crossing along Pennsylvania 32 to Interstate 295, this allowed us to recross the Delaware River, and go back to New Jersey.

Now into New Jersey, we headed into Trenton. There is a cannon from the American Civil War that was used in South Carolina. This now rests in a park in Trenton. For family history purposes, a picture was needed for records, and war records show distant Union family members usin this cannon when it was in South Caroling.

There was less of the day today since our real job took some of the morning, so it was time to work our way south through New Jersey. Our desitntion tonight was Newark, Delaware. To get from New Jersey into Delaware we crossed the Delaware Memorial Bridge. This gave us great views of the Delaware River.
