Day THREE...
Sunday, July 27th, 2025


Today was a full day in the eastern portion of the Upper Peninsula. We started up at Sault Ste Marie, and then headed down to Mackinaw City to walk around the shops along the main street of Mackinaw City. Then lunch at a hot dog dinner, then down to the lakefront for some more time along the water.

After we left Mackinaw City, we headed back north to M-134. It was time to head toward the Drummond Island Area at DeTour Village. This was some scenic times along Lake Huron. Along the way there were unique sites, some historic displays, and amazing views.

After watching the ferry and some ships in the shipping channel, we headed back north towards Sault Ste Marie.

After a cleanup at the hotel in Sault Ste Marie, it was time to head back to Mackinaw City for then evenings entertainment. Dinner was at a dinner off of Interstate 75 that claims to have the world's best burger. It actually wasn't bad, and fairly priced. Then it was out to see a lighthouse at Mackinaw City, and then over to Jack Pines Lumberjack Show to see the show again.

After the show it was time to head back up to Sault Ste Marie. Once in the Soo we headed downtown to see the city just after sunset.
