The junction between the BNSF Railway, Illinois Railway, and the Burlington Junction is located in Central Montgomery. There are two main lines for the BNSF Railway. This is former Burlington Northern trackage. The Illinois Railway branches off of the main line of the BNSF to the south. It was former Burlington Northern trackage to Ottawa, and Streator. Just north of the connection with the BNSF and Illinois Railway, is a branch line to the west for the Burlington Junction.
