On the northwest side of the small village of Cameron is where two of the BNSF main lines cross each other. The former Atchison, Tokpeka, & Santa Fe line ran on the upper level. While the former Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy (later Burlington Northern), ran at ground level. Today both lines have merged to form the BNSF Railway.
