East of Fulton the BNSF Railway-Barstow Subdivision crosses over the Union Pacific-Geneva Subdivistion. The two rail lines cross just north of U.S. 30. The BNSF line is the former CB&Q tracks and the Union Pacific line is the a former Chicago Northwestern.
