At Gilman, IL there is a junction of the former Illinois Central rail line and the Toleo, Peoria, & Western Railroad on the westside of Gilman. A this junction there is the north-south Canadian National line, crossed by the east-west Toledo, Peoria, & Western line. Runing from the junction to the southwest, to Gibson City, is another line of the Canadian National, with the Norfolk Southern having track rights.
