In the middle of Odin is the jucntion between the CSX Railroad and the Canadian National Railroad. The CSX line goes east-west from St. Louis, MO to Vincennes, IN. While the Canadian National, runs north-south from Centrailia, and Carbondale, north to Champaign-Urbana, and Chicago.
