Walkerton, IN
On the northside of Walkerton is the junction between the CSX, running east-west, and the Elkhart & Western, running north-south. The CSX runs along the former Baltimore and Ohio Railroad line; while the Elkhart & Western runs along the former Nickle Plate Road. At one time the New York Central, later Conrail and Norfolk Southern ran north-south through this junction.
