This junction is actually two rail junctions in a close proximity to each other. Kennedy Avenue goes north-south between the junctions. Grasselli Junction is at Kennedy Avenue and 151st Street. Shearson Junction is located to the east of Kennedy Avenue. Running north-south through Grasselli is the Indiana Harbor Belt. This is the former New York Central line. East-west through Grasselli is the Canadian National. This is the former Elgin, Joliet, & Eastern.

To the east of Kennedy Ave. is Shearson Junction. This is completely Canadian National rail lines, and all former Elgin, Joliet, & Eastern lines.
