Southeast of the town of Sheffield, and southwest of the intersection of U.S. 6/24 & IL 40 is the junction of the Iowa Interstate and Union Pacific. The Iowa Interstate line is on former Rock Island Railroad tracks. While the Union Pacific is on former Chicago & Northwestern rails.
