The junction between the Norfolk Southern, Union Pacific, Canadian National is located in the southern part of Springfield. This can be viewed from the overpass on Stanford Avenue. The Union Pacific runs north south through the junction. The Norfolk Southern enters from the southwest and leaves on the northeast. Prior to entering the junction the Kansas City Southern connects to the Norfolk Southern tracks. South of of the Stanford Avenue overpass the Canadian National tracks enter the junction on the eastside.
