Toledo, Peoria, & Western-Wabash
Forest, IL

Where the tracks use to lay for the junction.
The turn-table is indicated by the circle.
On the eastside of Forest, just north of U.S. 24 is the remains of what was the junction between the TPW & the Wabash (later Norfolk Western). The rail lines were removed for the Wabash. What reamins is a open clearing, a old depot, and a turn table. The TPW rail line also still runs east-west through the junction.

Looking northeast at the open clearing where a connection line between the two railroads was. (May, 2008)

Looking southeast at the turn table.
