Will County Highway 17

Will County Highway 17 is a east-west highway in West-Central Will County. This is 16.3 miles in length. It runs from Interstate 55 to U.S. Rt. 52. The name it carries is Manhattan-Arsenal Road. This provides a link for traffic from the speedways on Illinois State Route 53 to Interstate 55. The exit with I-55 was moved about one mile south of it's orignial location. This was tor provie better access to the interstate for truck traffic, and reduce back-ups on the interstate with trucks exiting the interstate. The exit number was changed from 245 to 244.
