William G. Edens Expressway

The William G. Edens Expressway is a north-south highway in the Chicago Metro. It runs from the Lake/Cook County Line south to the John F. Kennedy Expressway. This also is shielded by one interstate and one U.S. Highway.

This expressway was named after a former banker and sponsor of Illinois' first highway bond in 1918. Today this one of the busiest expressways in the Chicago Metro Highway system.

The Edens Expressway passes through the following towns in Illinois.

The Edens Expressway is controlled by the Illinois Department of Tranportation.

Interstate 90, (John F. Kennedy Expressway) at Chicago.
