William G. Edens Expressway

The William G. Edens Expressway is a north-south highway in the Chicago Metro. It runs from the Lake/Cook County Line south to the John F. Kennedy Expressway. This also is shielded by one interstate and one U.S. Highway.

This expressway was named after a former banker and sponsor of Illinois' first highway bond in 1918. Today this one of the busiest expressways in the Chicago Metro Highway system.
