The Historic National Road runs in Western Maryland. It runs from Cumberland, to the West Virginia/Maryland State Line. This runs along the Interstate 68/U.S. Rt. 40 corridor. Much of the road follows ALT U.S. Rt. 40. Info below gives more information and images of I-68 and U.S. Rt. 40.
