Interstate 670 is an east-west highway through Downtown Kansas City. It is aprox. 1.17 miles long. This runs under the Kansas City Convention Center. Through traffic on Interstate 70 uses this as a more direct route through Downtown Kansas City, vs. the main line going to the north, by-passing downtown. It is also listed on signs as "ALT I-70".
