Brooke-Hancock Counties

U.S. Federal Route 22 is an east-west expressway in Northern West Virginia. It runs just over six miles, mostly in Northern Brooke County, but as it goes around a pass it moves into Southern Hancock County before reentering Brooke County. At the interchange with West Virginia State Route 105, U.S. Rt. 22 reenters Hancock County. This highway starts on the western state boarder entering West Virginia from Ohio on the Veterans Memorial Bridge, crossing the Ohio River. Then after traveling east it enters the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, just east of the WV St Rt 105 interchange.
