The Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway-Former East-West Tollway runs east-west across North-Central and Northeastern Illinois. The current highway number along the entire length is Interstate 88. This runs from Rock Falls to Hillside. This is the only tollway to have a Illinois state highway run it. Illinois State Route 56 runs from near Sugar Grove to near Aurora.
On June 14, 2004 the ISTHA board of directios approved changing the name of the East-West Tollway to be the Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway. Former President Reagan died on June 5, 2004. This tollway passes near where he grew up. The Reagan Tollway passes through the following metros. Chicago Aurora De Kalb
