U.S. 20 has been a road traveled by many across the United States. It runs from Boston, Masschesettes, to Newport, Oregon. Much of this path has been replaced by the modern day Interstate 90. This interstate does not pass within the State of Iowa, but runs to the north through Southern Minnesota.
In the State of Iowa much of the original U.S. 20 has been bypassed with a moderen four-lane version of the highway. The old route still today take you back in time and into each of the small communities that the State of Iowa has to offer.
