Interstate 235

Interstate 235 is the loop around Downtown Wichita. This runs from a interchange with Interstate 35/Interstate 135/U.S. Rt. 81 to a interchange with Interstate 135/U.S. Rt. 81/Kansas State Route 96/Kansas State Route 254 on the northeast side of town. I-235 actually does not touch it's parent route, I-35, within the state. This is similar to Interstate 471, in Kentucky and Interstate 155, in Tennessee.
