Lincoln Highway
Illinois State Line to Cedar/Linn County Line

The Lincoln Highway runs along the U.S. 30 corridor in Clinton and Cedar Counties. Most of it runs along a service or farm roads parallel to U.S. 30.



Clinton

At Clinton, the Lincoln Highway enters the State of Iowa from the State of Illinois. This is from Illinois State Route 136 on Iowa State Route 136. At the Iowa base of the bridge the Lincon Highway intersects with U.S. 67, and heads south to U.S. 30.

At Lowden, the runs north of the current U.S. 30. This passes through the downtown portions of the community.

Clarence

The Lincoln Highway comes into Clarence from the south. Coming from Lowden, the highway follows 150th Ave. to Quincy Ave. It heads north into Clarence, and joins U.S. 30 to head west. At downtown Clarence, there is a park with an original Lincoln Highway marker. Just west is a mural.
