U.S. 66 in Illinois

The third alignment of U.S. 66 at Ponitac is the four-lane by-pass along the west side. Portions of all four-lanes are open here, unlike at other towns. It has the southern end of Illinois 23 on it. Parts of Illinois 116 run along this alignment of U.S. 66.
