Springfield to Staunton
From Staunton to the Missouri State Line U.S. 66 had several alignment through the St. Louis Metro East Area. From 1926 to 1977 there were seven different alignments. To enter the State of Missouri, U.S. 66 crossed the Mississippi River at four different bridges.
