Morrison to Iowa

From Morrison to Fulton, the Lincoln Highway follows U.S. 30. East of Fulton, the Lincoln Highway goes onto Illinois 136. At Fulton, the Lincoln Highway briefly goes on Illinois 84 to 16th Avenue to 15th Avenue to 4th Street. 4th Street brings the Lincoln Highway back to Illinois 136. Back on Illinois 136, the Lincoln Highway crosses the Mississippi River and enters the State of Iowa.


Morrison
Through Morrison, the Lincoln Highway is the main east-west highway. This follows U.S. 30. On the northside of Morrison is one of the State of Illinois' many covered bridges. Between Morrison and Fulton it passes by Union Grove as it goes across rural Whiteside County.

Fulton
At Fulton, the Lincoln Highway left U.S. 30 for Illinois 136. In Fulton, the Lincoln Highway briefly heads south on Illinois 84, to 16th Avenue. 16th Avenue leads the Lincoln Highway to 15th Avenue. The Lincoln Highway follows 15th to 4th Street. 4th Street takes the Lincoln Highway back to Illinois 136 and to Iowa.
